Administrative Intake Specialist (Baltimore and College Park offices)

​

University Psychological Center, Inc. is seeking an individual to join our administrative team at our outpatient facility. Duties of the Administrative Intake Specialist include but are not limited to coordinating administrative and clinical services such as admissions, screening and eligibility for services, appointment-setting, medical record management, staff support, customer service/patient support and other administrative activities for UPCRN.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 10:00am - 6:30pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Basic Word, Excel and Outlook skills; Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience, Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Zoom

Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour

Peer Recovery Advocate

​

The Peer Recovery Advocate is responsible for conducting peer services in the Substance Use Disorder programs, including providing therapeutic and supportive services in the 3.1, 3.3 or 3.5 Residential Treatment Programs. The Peer Recovery Advocate also acts as a liaison between patients and the treatment team, as well as other community stakeholders (Parole and Probation, courts, medical providers, and other community resources).

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS)

  • Must have successfully completed Peer Recovery Advocate training

  • Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent or be currently enrolled in a GED program

  • Basic computer skills

  • Must meet all MABPCB requirements as it pertains to continued trainings.

Outpatient Mental Health Therapist (Co-Occurring Disorders)

The Outpatient Mental Health Therapist provides documented individual and group services and case management to patients with substance abuse, mental health or dual diagnosis problems.

​

Qualifications:

  • Graduate level licensure in psychology, social work, or allied health services

  • Current Active LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW-C licensure.

Outpatient Addictions Counselor

UPC, Inc. / Recovery Network is seeking an experienced Addictions Counselor to manage a caseload in both OP and IOP modalities. Weekly schedule will be split up between case-management and facilitating didactic groups. Responsibilities include intakes/assessments, case-management/referrals, facilitating didactic groups, treatment planning, discharge planning and care coordination with legal system. Supervision will be provided on a weekly/bi-weekly basis and required for all counselors. Experienced counselors are preferred.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have at least an Addictions Counselor Trainee Status, although CSC-AD, CAC-AD, CPC-AD or LMSW preferred.

  • Must have at least an AA degree or higher and completion of required alcohol and drug classes.

  • Minimum of two years working with a substance abuse population preferred.

Psychiatric Practitioner

​

The Psychiatric Practitioner will be responsible for the provision of psychiatric and behavioral services including evaluation and assessment, development and implementation of psychiatric treatment plans, medication evaluation and management and care coordination with interdisciplinary service providers.

​

Qualifications:

  • Masters of Nursing, completion of approved residency, and proven experience rendering psychiatric services or Doctorate in Medicine, completion of approved residency, and proven experience rendering psychiatric services. 

  • Psychiatry certification 

  • DEA Data 2000 waiver required 

​

Job Type: Full Time/ Contract

Pay: Negotiable
